The weight of the fireplace inserts ranges between 100-200 kg. You don’t have to worry about logistics: in addition to delivery, on-site collection is also available (Pilisszentlászló), and we will professionally load the product into the vehicle, which is included in our service. In the case of transport by car, we carefully wrap it in foil, and in the case of transport on a pallet, we strap the product together.
Any chimney system suitable for solid and wood burning is suitable, the internal diameter of which reaches or exceeds the diameter of the flue of the selected firebox (160 or 180 mm). The connection must be carried out by an officially qualified specialist who will issue a construction declaration – based on this, the chimney sweeping industry authority issues the use permit.
We keep the basic types in stock, but since each of our customers comes with unique needs, we build the fireplaces individually with the chosen options (unique external air connection, design handles, leg structure). If the chosen configuration is not in stock, the production time is usually only 1-2 weeks. In urgent cases, this can be shortened by individual agreement.
We offer a 5-year factory warranty on all Benkel fireplace inserts, which can be extended. Our fireplaces are made of solid, thermally shock-resistant cast iron, so they are designed for decades of continuous operation. Our very first models, manufactured 35 years ago, are still operating flawlessly in Hungarian homes today. All our products have official TÜV certification.
Yes, to the maximum. Thanks to our modern combustion technology developments, precise upper and lower air control and external air connection, our fireboxes operate with high efficiency (basic types 77-78%, versions with heat recovery 82-83%) and extremely low emissions of harmful substances, thus meeting strict European and domestic standards.
As a domestic manufacturer, one of our biggest advantages is our long-term, secure background. We provide direct spare parts supply (ceramic glasses, grates, ashtrays, seals) and service support for every fireplace insert purchased from us, even decades later. This way, you don’t have to worry about the spare parts shortages or long waiting times typical of imported products.
